White World, by Dylan

February 1, 2016

We had another snow day today. The sky has dropped only a few inches in our neighborhood so far, but wind gusts were blowing the snow horizontally, creating low visibility with white-out conditions, which is very dangerous for driving. It was pretty bad when I drove Mark to work at 6:00 this morning. So school was cancelled.

The partially-frozen pond two blocks from our house.

During a lull, Dylan went out on foot to take pictures of our neighborhood. He didn't stay out long, due to the cold, so he only took a few shots. But here they are!

Looking north up the road from in front of our place.

A tree in the yard of the house across the street from us.
