Today I got to go over to Robinson Elementary School with Tamera and see her fourth grade classroom. It's a cute room, with red and blue stars all over the walls. She was disappointed that they didn't have her furniture moved back in after waxing the floors, because she's raring to get back in there, roll up her sleeves, and get ready for the coming school year!
This is the front of her school building.*
This evening I got to meet Tamera's aide, Monnie, and Monnie's husband Larry. They came over to join us for a cook-out. Nice people!
Yesterday's storm has moved on and we enjoyed a sunny day in the upper 70s. Darryl was able to get outside and work in his yard. He gets stir-crazy when he's stuck indoors.

Jacob and Dylan were ecstatic when Darryl allowed them to ride his scooter around the neighborhood. Jacob disappeared for awhile. We were about to mount a search when he cruised back into view, completely oblivious to how worried his overprotective mother was. I can't believe he thinks he's an adult just because he's 18!
*Tomorrow will be our last full day in Missouri. Our vacation is almost over and soon we will be headed home. I look forward to sleeping in my own bed again and getting back into our familiar routine, but I'll miss the good times we've had. Family vacations rock!

I LOVE TAMARA'S ROOM! IT LOOKS NICE AND BIG! I'M SURE YOU'LL BE GLAD AS YOU ROLL INTO YOUR OWN DRIVEWAY AND THEN INTO YOUR OWN BEDS IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
Have a safe trip home.
Her classroom looks like a happy place to be with all those stars on the wall.
